I also must say a big "Thank you" to James' mummy for completing our stand with homemade mini cupcakes, which were a big hit and rightly so. They were perfectly bitesize and simply delicious. They also saved a few flagging perusers throughout the day - and for that we were all certainly grateful! It truly was a pleasure chatting to you about our (amazing, yes I'm biased) sustainable fabrics we had on display and hearing your thoughts. And it was nothing short of magical seeing some of our fabrics - such as our chakra hand block print - exquisitely made into truly beautiful garments and worn to the show; thank you for that remarkable endorsement!

Our Laminated and Waterproof Organic (GOTS certified) Jersey; it's certainly one of our more unusual textiles. It's a cream waterproof fabric with a slightly stretchy jersey on one side, and a waterproof, recycled plastic laminate on the other. I love the combination of the organic jersey and the recycled poly laminate - and the applications for it really get the imagination going!

Cream Undyed Organic Single Jersey fabric; This is a soft, knitted fabric in it's undyed greige state. I think it's natural simplicity is what is so alluring about it. It really feeds into the beautiful, undyed, minimal Scandinavian trend we're seeing. It's organic (GOTS certified) and incredibly soft to the touch and ideal for so many uses including clothing such as tops, neckwear, dresses, and particularly childrenswear and toys. Although I love it in it's undyed state, it's also incredible when it's dyed!

Deep Indigo Handwoven Crossweave; Again, I think this is such a key fabric at the moment. Beautiful, plain weave - it has a real texture and character to it. I can't talk about this fabric without gushing - it still blows my mind that it's all hand woven - what a dream. It's a very durable fabric, but has a soft, suppleness to it and the colour is absolutely stunning. (Can you tell I love it?!)

AND ... we have a new fabric I am just dying to share with you - it's RECLAIMED!!

What an absolute treat! Blue Reversible Polkadot Denim. I've called it a denim (it looks more like a denim chambray actually), but it couldn't be further from a denim! It's a stunning, lightweight and crisp fabric, but my favourite part? That it's reversible - but not garishly reversible! It's a superbly subtle dark blue grey on one side, and a lighter blue on the other. It would be absolutely gorgeous for shirts and dresses, and would also be great for soft furnishings. The possibilities for it are just endless. It's a synthetic fabric, so washes like a dream and is quick drying - barely any ironing needed. It's also incredibly crease resistant. This textile was reclaimed from a high end designer - there is only a limited amount of it, so do grab it for this unbelievable, bargain price while it's still in stock! As it's an end of line fabric, we won't be restocking it.
