Elvis & Kresse: Sustainability, Longevity and Working with Celebrity

Elvis & Kresse: Sustainability, Longevity and Working with Celebrity

Kresse Wesling Monday, 1 October 2018

Since 2005 Elvis & Kresse have been turning waste materials into luxury lifestyle accessories and meanwhile donating 50% of their profits back to charities. The business started when they learnt the damaged decommissioned hoses of the London Fire Brigade headed straight to landfill. They have since reclaimed an astonishing 175 tons of waste material and turned fire hoses into a luxury range of bags and accessories. In 2017, they dominated the news with the launch of a five-year partnership with Burberry to transform the brand’s leather offcuts into new products sold by Elvis & Kresse.

We were delighted to catch Kresse Wesling MBE, owner and co-founder of Elvis & Kresse and chat to her about this incredible brand’s journey.
