Jessie's Ethical Fashion Collection

Jessie's Ethical Fashion Collection

I've been meaning to send a photo of my uni collection last year because most of the fabric and thread etc came from Offset Warehouse. I'm really happy with it because I wanted to design and make an ethical collection and I feel like it was a fairly good attempt. I have pride in the things I create - knowing that I have made something unique, knowing that the materials I have used have been produced fairly. It breaks the oppressive cycle when we reconnect with where things actually come from, when we connect with the people who produce the materials and reconnect with how things are made through making them ourselves. I am proud of my collection because it is the physical manifestation of my ideals.
